In July, the 163rd Great Yorkshire Show will take place in glorious, floral Harrogate. It’s an epic show that is a celebration of country life, jam packed with attractions! Our day trip on Wednesday 13th July is your opportunity to experience Yorkshire at its finest.
New for 2022 is the GYS Stage. It will be featuring farming celebrities, like former JLS band member JB Gill, who is taking a break from his farm in Sevenoaks to speak to presenter Christine Talbot. You can also see some of the finest animals in the country and the ever-popular exciting cattle competitions. The highlight of the Show is the main ring that provides a superb setting - plus a first for the Top Spec White Rose Ring, brand-new show jumping classes!
Whilst visiting the show, why not get involved in some Rural Crafts – including Carving, Marquetry and Stick making demonstrations, Hives and Honey with Flowers and Horticulture too. Take your seat for many Displays & Demonstrations with an eclectic mix of charming events of Sheep Shearing, Shoemaking, Game Cookery Theatre, to name but a few.
Not to forget parades of some of the most outstanding animals in the country, plus six Marquees of shopping opportunities from Gardening to Giftware, Homeware to Country Wear and over 120 Food & Drink Exhibitors.
