Tuesday: All aboard for our funfilled Christmas break, starting off with a visit to Skipton before continuing to our hotel where we are greeted with sherry and mince pies. The evening kicks off with cocktails in the company of the friendly hotel team then dinner, which is followed by music and dancing.

Christmas Eve: We head to Lytham, a leafy seaside town with a windmill on the green. Time to stroll along the seafront or peruse the shops and cafés surrounding the pedestrianised square before returning to the hotel for buffet lunch. Then enjoy a relaxing afternoon with entertainment provided. Tonight, perhaps sample your favourite tipple at Happy Hour before a candlelit dinner and live entertainment.

Christmas Day: Relaxing day at leisure. Maybe blow the cobwebs away with a morning walk along the seafront, then enjoy hot punch, traditional Christmas Day lunch, a visit from Santa and the King’s speech. A light evening buffet is followed by more toetapping live music and dancing.

Boxing Day: A leisurely breakfast, then a morning visit up the coast to neighbouring Blackpool for some free time. We return to the hotel for a buffet lunch, later taking our seats at the Lowther Pavilion in Lytham for the afternoon performance of the Christmas Panto. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner, then live music and dancing til late.

Saturday: Following breakfast, we call at the Barton Grange Garden centre en-route homewards.
