We begin at the market town of Dorchester which was the inspiration for fictional “Casterbridge” in Thomas Hardy’s novels. Continuing to the seaside resort of Weymouth with its charming harbour, golden sands and grand Georgian terraces.

Full day: Picturesque Salisbury
Today we set off to Salisbury, with its impressive cathedral.
