Portmeirion Village & Betwys-y-Coed
Travelling via Betws-y-Coed and through Snowdonia National Park we arrive at Portmeirion Village, created in 1925 as a purposebuilt Italianate style holiday destination and finished in 1976. Considered as one of Wales’s premier visitor attractions, it enjoys a stunning setting and features shops, cafés, and subtropical gardens. We return via Llanberis and the spectacular Llanberis Pass.
Caenarfon & The Isle of Anglesey
We follow the North Wales coast road, between mountains and the sea, reaching Caernarfon, dominated by its famous castle and ancient walls. In the afternoon we cross the Menai Straits onto Anglesey calling at Llanfair PG. We complete our day with a stop in picturesque Beaumaris, fronted by its moated castle (5 day tours only)
