Your Excursions

Full day: Dorchester and Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens
First stop is picturesque Dorchester, Dorset’s county town. Then to Abbotsbury to enjoy a stroll around the formal and informal gardens, world famous for its camellia groves and magnolias. Don’t miss stunning views of the Jurassic Coast from the viewpoint on the Magnolia Walk.

Full day: Swanage & Steam
This morning we visit the lovely resort of Poole before we pass through the Dorset countryside reaching the little resort of Swanage, a lovely spot perched on the tip of Purbeck. Take time to explore the village before we board the Swanage Railway for a six-mile journey through beautiful landscape passing the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle.

Half day: Christchurch
A morning visit to the lovely town of Christchurch, home to two rivers, two quays and two castles! (Six-day tours only)
