Tuesday: Making an en-route stop in the stylish Cheshire market town of Wilmslow, home to designer boutiques, antique shops and a number of eateries, we then continue to the hotel where we are welcomed with festive refreshments. Settle in before a delicious three course dinner.

Christmas Eve: After breakfast, we make our way to the ancient city of Chester. We return to our hotel for dinner and then why not pick a board game to play in the lounge with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie?

Christmas Day: Following breakfast maybe enjoy a stroll around the grounds, then indulge in a festive tipple before a traditional Christmas lunch is served. Afterwards, it’s the King’s speech, a visit from Santa and a relaxing afternoon with tea and Christmas cake. Later, let’s hope there is room to squeeze in something from the chef’s buffet.

Boxing Day: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast then we’re off for free time in Liverpool. With the Albert Dock, two cathedrals, the Tate Liverpool and Maritime Museum, there is so much to see. We complete the day with a visit to the Panto then back to the hotel for a farewell dinner and relaxing evening to finish off our break off.

Saturday: A full buffet breakfast sets us up for our journey home, with a stop at The Quays in Manchester en-route.
