Tuesday: Off we head to Oxfordshire, breaking our journey with a stop in Moreton-in-Marsh, one of the perfect picture-postcard villages in the beautiful Cotswolds. Time to explore the celebrated weekly market. We are then offered refreshments at the Oxford Belfry Hotel. Time to settle in before dinner.

Christmas Eve: We spend the day in Oxford, the “city of dreaming spires” steeped in a rich and fascinating history with 38 colleges, world-renowned Bodleian Library and landmarks such as the Bridge of Sighs – often featured in the popular Inspector Morse series. Back at the hotel dinner is served  followed by a fun evening of board games.

Christmas Day: Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure. Perhaps take a stroll to work up an appetite for your traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. The afternoon brings a visit from Santa, the King’s speech and Christmas cake followed by a leisurely evening with casual grazing boards.

Boxing Day: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast then we’re off to the sales at Bicester Village, a designer shopping outlet with over 160 shops to grab a bargain in. This afternoon we take ourseats for a fun-filled performance of a classic panto. This evening brings a farewell dinner followed by a quiz in the lounge.

Saturday: After breakfast we make our way home with a stop en-route in the elegant town of Royal Leamington Spa.
