A relaxing stay in popular Pitlochry, which boasts Queen Victoria as one of its original visitors completes a super scenic Scottish break.!

 

Your Excursions

• We head north for our ferry to Rothesay arriving at our hotel on Bute for two nights.
• A visit to the neo-Gothic Mount Stuart House and Gardens. Afterwards, we enjoy a scenic drive around the island.
• Taking the ferry back to the mainland we follow the shores of the tranquil Loch Fyne, to Fort William. Later we visit the fishing village of Mallaig passing the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct to catch the ferry to Skye to stay for two nights.
• A morning visit to famous Dunvegan Castle & Gardens followed by a guided tour bringing alive the surrounding scenery of the Trotternish Peninsula via Duntulm.
• A final treat is a wildlife cruise aboard a glass bottomed boat under the Skye Bridge to see the seals and beautiful underwater kelp forests. Then onto the newly reopened Loch Ness Centre for a unique tour of its history, stories and science. Two night stay in Pitlochry.
• Free day in the picture-postcard town of Pitlochry.
• After breakfast, we begin our journey home.

On this break we stay at smaller traditional hotels, ideally located for this touring holiday. Please note two of the hotels do not have lifts and there are steps to the front doors and throughout, therefore this may not be ideally suited to those with limited mobility.
