Your Excursions

Sunday: To the overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam.

Monday: We call in Antwerp, a Belgian hidden gem, full of amazing architecture, stylish shops and attractive cobbled squares. We arrive in Valkenburg to settle in prior to dinner.

Tuesday: A free day in delightful Valkenburg, time to explore the historic town and wander around the Christmas markets, soaking up the atmosphere and perhaps buying a gift or two. We include entry into the Velvet Caves.

Wednesday: We visit the handsome Eifel Mountains, calling in the picture postcard town of Monschau, characterised by its timeless half-timbered buildings and overlooked by a medieval castle.

Thursday: Today we’re off to Maastricht, the capital of the Limburg region. We pause at the Three-Country Viewing Point where Belgium, Germany and Holland meet. 

Friday: Leaving Valkenburg, we call in The Hague, then continue to Rotterdam for the return sailing to Hull.

Saturday: We head for home.
